Wish we could say this was a liter of Richie's favorite craft beer, but unfortunately it was a build up of fluid in his left lung (photo is of half the fluid drained).
Over the weekend Richie ended up in the hospital where he was given fluids, antibiotics, and a blood transfusion. He also had one liter of fluid drained from his lung. These are just some of the issues sarcoma warriors face while battling this aggressive cancer. He has been taken great care of and is feeling much better.
During these times Richie remembers what one of his heroes said, "No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall, you're never out of the fight." - Marcus Luttrell
Our family is grateful for all the support we've been given. We pay homage to every cancer and amputee warrior fighting for their next step. We don't know what struggle you're facing, but remember, every step is a finish line.
Portions of t-shirt proceeds will go toward cancer sarcoma research and veteran amputees.
